Friendly Pines Camp: CILT 2008 Information

Interested in applying to be a CILT for the upcoming 2008 summer?

Due to the success of the program and growing number of eligible candidates, the selection process has been changed to allow for all interested campers to submit an application. In order to receive the application packet, all interested campers (not parents) must contact the camp via phone (no emails please) and express that they are interested in applying to become a CILT.
All calls of interest must be received NO LATER than OCTOBER 16, 2007
Following this expression of interest the CILT application will be sent out, it will include:

Application for enrollment

Application for CILT program enrollment

A request for 1-2 letters of reference (by persons other than family or family friends)

An essay prompt that will ask for a 1-2 page essay on a specific camp related topic

An explanation and overview of the CILT program

The completed packet will be due by a specified due date, not yet set. Due to space in camp, we can take only a few CILTs. Candidates for the limited number of positions will be chosen based on the quality and completeness of their application, essay and phone interview.
